Dropi for BioEffect

This project presents the design of a conceptual commercial space for BioEffect, an innovative Icelandic skincare brand, expanding on the brand’s identity through narrative, atmosphere, and material.

Building on sensory storytelling, the space invites visitors into a calm, immersive environment that reflects the brand’s luxurious, spa-like essence. Inspired by the moment a single drop meets the water, the layout reflects the calm rhythm of its expanding pattern.

More than a retail setting, it becomes a physical expression of BioEffect’s heritage - where each element contributes to a sense of purity, ritual, and quiet sophistication.

The objective of the Point of Sale display was to create a sculptural yet functional piece that brings together material contrast and cultural narrative to express a new dimension of the BioEffect brand.

Inspired by Icelandic nature and the ritual of sea swimming, the design pairs the rawness of volcanic stone with the softness of textiles to evoke the quiet moment of warmth and stillness after the cold sea swimming - hanging a robe on a rock, laying a towel down to rest.

The result is a sculptural display that functions as both product support and brand storytelling—offering a sensory, immersive experience within the retail space and blurring the line between retail display and narrative installation.
